Scottish singer unharmed; police nab man for questioning

(NEWSER) - Singer Susan Boyle is “unharmed” but still “shocked” after a late-night run-in with a mysterious man who had infiltrated her home. The Scottish chanteuse and reality star was coming home around 10pm after recording a Haiti charity single. “Susan returned home with a friend and found an intruder in her house,” a spokeswoman tells the Times . “She was shocked but unharmed.” The man bolted; police later picked up a suspect for questioning, but released him. Robin Williams, no stranger to cross-dressing, has been approached to play the dowdy Britain’s Got Talent songstress. “I’ve been asked if I want to play Susan in the movie,” says Mrs. Doubtfire's alter ego. “I think she’s incredible.” To prepare, he's reportedly been trying out an impersonation on friends.
