Bing's Week 2: Not So Bad

Share

(Newser) – Bing's second week wasn't such a bad one, CNET reports. Microsoft’s brand-new search engine has eaten into the market share of its competition, tacking on a 1% gain in both number of searchers and results returned last week, putting it up about 3% in both categories since launch: It captured 16.7% of search users and returned 12.1% of all results pages.

It appears that Microsoft Bing has continued to generate interest from the market for the second consecutive week. These early data reflect a continued positive market reaction to Bing in the initial stages.

wow, that was two highly thought out replies with so much indepth feedback as to why you think one is better then the other.. with that said, bing has a much more enjoyable image search, without having to load page after page after page like in google, it instead keeps loading more as you keep scrolling down the list of results. and the shopping tools that bing has have infact proven interesting and usable so far. Bing's 2 weeks of existance have actually been fruitful for me so far. i won't give up on google, but i will use both hand in hand now. Reply
