LA Flocks to Lakers Parade

Cops vow to jail miscreants as coliseum fills

(Newser) – An estimated 150,000 clogged streets in downtown Los Angeles today as the NBA-champion Lakers took a victory lap around downtown, the Times reports. Some 80,000 more jammed the Coliseum for a rally at parade’s end. Police, hoping to avoid the looting and chaos that followed Sunday’s clinching victory over the Orlando Magic, turned out in force.

Hello and welcome to America! Where the only thing that will get our fat apathetic asses into the street isn't overpriced health care, an unjust war, corporate greed, or ineffectual leaders, but to cheer and applaud a bunch of overpaid pituitary retards that play a kids game. Congratulations America you are #1 in dumb-fuckery. Reply

Congratulations on making a good point and sounding like a dumbass, and borderline racist, at the same time

Wow Rembrant is an idiot, as he sits behind his keyboard blogging thinking that makes him more of an activist than everyone else in this country. I was just going to say, Pittsburgh wins. 350,000 came out to the Pittsburgh Penguin"s parade. More than double the people at the Laker's parade. Reply
