(Newser) – Humvees are always a mere down payment away, and it's only natural to see stadiums named after big corporations. Your source of info on '60s icons is Oliver Stone movies and anything else you need to know comes right from "The Daily Show." Don't worry; you’re not suffering from a amnesia—you're a typical student entering college this fall.

A Beloit College professor has been releasing his "Mindset List" for 10 years, prying open the minds of 18-year-olds for all the world to see. His findings cut both ways: This year's freshmen aren't surprised by women police chiefs or nutritional labeling. If only they didn't consider the "Prozac defense" a viable way out... and hadn't grown up imitating that darn Beavis and Butthead snicker.
