OJ Galpal's Tell-All Recalls Abuse, Threats

Author dated Simpson for 13 years

Share

(Newser) – OJ Simpson’s last girlfriend remembers him as controlling and abusive in a tell-all she’s shopping, writes Cindy Adams in the New York Post. In her proposal for Spellbound: My Life With OJ Simpson, galpal of 13 years Christine Prody recalls choice Simpson anecdotes such as the two abortions he forced her to have or the numerous times he kicked her out of his house. When she left him, he threatened to kill her.

Prody writes that Simpson wouldn’t allow her to have any friends of her own, lied about her to her family, and called her mother “evil personified.” He taunted her looks, constantly comparing her to murdered ex-wife Nicole, and his jealousy led him to monitor her phone records and to once threaten a male friend of hers with a gun.

Anything to make a buck, eh? Not that I think he was a good guy. I would bet money that's he's an abusive ba$tard. However... I can only see this as someone who has lost her free-ride looking for another. I certainly would not buy her book. There are a kazillion abused woman out there... let's do something to help them instead! Reply

Good for her. Why not capitalize on OJ. Lots of other people have. This chick liked the money, fame and coke parties. Now she can score a few bucks - so what. The good thing is that OJ is in the pen finally, hopefully forever. Reply

ah, but that's just it... she won't be making the money "off that slug". She'll be raking in everyone else's. Now "we" are about to support her!

She should forget the book and thank her lucky stars that she too wasn't cut up into Nicole-Slaw. She was a moron for even getting involved with OJ.
