McConaughey Preggers Again

Plus, Matthew McConaughey is expecting again, and more

(Newser) – Baby No. 2 is on the way for Matthew McConaughey and girlfriend Camila Alves, Us reports. “Yeah, we pulled off the greatest miracle in the world one more time, Camila and I are expecting our second child, bringing more life into the world, making more to live for,” McConaughey wrote on his website yesterday. Elsewhere:

  • Sir Michael Gambon plays Harry Potter’s headmaster Dumbledore, but in real life he’s a 68-year-old actor with two families—and he just welcomed a second child with his mistress, the Sun reports. Gambon’s wife is aware of the situation, and a family friend says, “It is a very strange set of circumstances worthy of a film script in itself.”
  • Mercy James has only been a member of Madonna’s family for two days, but the Malawian orphan is set to join her Material Mom on tour later this week, the Mirror reports—and she’s already started attending Kabbalah meetings.
  • Columbia shelved Steven Soderbergh’s Moneyball with just days to go before filming, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Sources say execs weren’t happy with a recent script change for the film, set to star Brad Pitt.
