Dalai Lama to Tibet: You Need 2 of Me

Share

(Newser) – The Dalai Lama has told Tibetans his successor should not bear the burden of being both spiritual and political leader to their community, the Independent reports. "When we put the whole responsibility in the person of the Dalai Lama, it is dangerous," he said in a video address at a Tibetan election symposium in India. Tibetans need both a spiritual and a "democratically elected" political leader.

Too bad you don't have a real ivy league education that was EARNED, not BOUGHT. Too bad you were never a lawyer, a state senator, a senator, or a noted public speaker. Then you might actually be qualified

You are running at 2-bits... That is out of of date. Why are all my friends that go to Ivy league schools retarded? (I'm serious, socially and mentally, Yale, Princeton). If they had more average Joseph's or Jose's with good sense and charisma I am sure things would be the same. I'm not sure, but I think that an education makes you much smarter in the common sense region of the brain, it may however enhance your vocabulary (which may make you appear smarter). I have a cousin who sounds really smart compared to my Ivy league girlfriend (He reads huge novels daily). He also is a communist and has no Job and I'll ad he also has a bad temperament.

Your sentence structure is really weird and I can't decipher it. What point are you trying to make? I read it like this: I have retarded friends at ivy leagues schools. If they (the ivy league schools) had more averages "joes" with good sense and charisma then thing would be the same (Okay... what's your point? Also, don't ivy league schools bank their reputations on the fact their students are NOT average, but well above average? "Legacy" students not withstanding). Then you say that an education makes you have more common sense and a better vocabulary. (Again, that's nice. But what's your POINT!?). Finally, you mention that you have a cousin who sounds really smart compared to your ivy league girlfriend (whose education you apparently hold in contempt, as all of your acquaintances who go to ivy league schools are retards. Which would include her. Smooth.), but that's because he reads really big books (What does that have to do with ANYTHING!?). Also he is a communist and mean (Again... how does this help you make your point).
