Perez Eyes Lawsuit in Will.i.am Melee

Manager charged with assault after awards show

(Newser) – The scuffle between Perez Hilton and the Black Eyed Peas has only just begun. Polo Molina, the band’s manager, “is being prosecuted for assault in Toronto” after Sunday’s alleged assault on Hilton, Hilton’s lawyer tells the New York Daily News. Hilton “intends to take immediate action to make sure that Mr. Molina and Will.i.am understand very clearly that physical violence is unacceptable on any level.”

As Perez (real name Mario Lavandeira) plots his legal action, footage of the fracas is trickling out. Canadian gossip site Drink the Glitter published a picture that appears to show Hilton’s shocked face at the moment of impact, and TMZ has video footage including Hilton’s pre-punch taunt to Will.i.am: “You’re not a fucking artist, you’re a fucking faggot.”
