Twitter tries and fails to take down another celebrity

(NEWSER) - Bill Cosby is not dead, despite what you might have read on the Internet this afternoon. In fact, the 73-year-old comedy legend is alive, well, and making up words on Twitter, reports WPIX . Using a term he created after a similar false alarm in February, he tweeted today, "Again, I'm rebutalling rumors about my demise." Singer beats president to milestone

(NEWSER) - More than 10 million Facebook users are fans of Lady Gaga, making her the first living person to reach the eight-digit reaches of global popularity, Us reports . Michael Jackson, Family Guy, Texas Hold 'Em, and Mafia Wars are the only other entities with 10 million fans. Even President Obama has only 9,058,881, according to Mediaite . (NEWSER) - A little bird named Biz Stone tells reporters that Twitter’s much-maligned “suggested users” list is getting kicked out of the nest. The feature, which encourages new users to follow a handful of celebrities, has been mired in controversy over the selection process.
