(Newser) – Chris Brown will return to the stage for the first time since he assaulted ex Rihanna in February for a Michael Jackson tribute at the BET Awards tomorrow, Access Hollywood reports. Rihanna is also planning to attend the event. Brown lent his voice to a tribute song featuring The Game, Diddy, and Boyz II Men released yesterday. He was sentenced in the Rihanna assault on Monday.

“Michael Jackson is the reason why I do music and why I am an entertainer,” Brown said. “I am devastated by this great loss, and I will continue to be humbled and inspired by his legacy. My prayers are with his family. Michael will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. He’s the greatest…the best ever. No one will ever be better.”

I geuss the truth must hurt. Chris brown how ever talented he is or is not, is a punk and deserves no I repeat NO f-ing respect for beating a woman like that. Black white brown yellow orange or whatever color makes no diff. It's not a race issue And he deserves all the ridicule he gets
