Michael Bay robot-romp could be biggest movie of 2009

(Newser) – Michael Bay’s Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen nearly toppled the 5-day opening record by earning $201.2 million since Wednesday, Entertainment Weekly reports. The Dark Knight remains unbeaten at $203.8 million, but Transformers still crushed the weekend competition with a $112 million gross. Filling out the top five were The Proposal ($18.5 million), The Hangover ($17.2 million), Up ($13 million), and My Sister's Keeper ($12 million).

First the Media are all over this picture because it is "Racist" and now they are all singing praise ... toss a few million $$$ towards the thing and all is forgiven? Can't help but laugh. Reply

Are you kidding me about the babysitting comment? Have you seen this movie? I wouldn't recommend anybody under the age of 18 go see this crap. This movie is littered with language, F bombs and Sexual situations. I was left disgusted at how Hasbro and Paramount irrisponsibley signed off on this crap. The movie was filled with families. I doubt I was the only one embarrassed for the kids, but i cant believe the only thing anybody's talking about is the "racist" spin.
