(NEWSER) - Seems Dan Savage isn't the only member of the media with whom Rick Santorum has a bone to pick: Even the right-wing media stalwarts over at Fox News have dissed the former Pennsylvania senator's candidacy, he complains today in a radio interview picked up by Mark Halperin of Time . "Bill O'Reilly has refused to put me on his program. As far as he was concerned I wasn't a worthy enough candidate to earn a spot to sit across from him and be on his program." Ford's Theatre superintendent writes scathing 4-page letter

(NEWSER) - Bill O'Reilly's book, Killing Lincoln: The Shocking Assassination that Changed America Forever, has sold nearly a million copies and currently sits at #2 on the New York Times bestseller list . Only problem is, it's riddled with errors, according to a scathing review from the National Park Service bookstore at Ford’s Theatre, Salon reports. Here are a few alleged historical missteps:

• Killing Lincoln refers several times to the Oval Office. Little problem: The Oval Office wasn't built until 1909.

But spokesman JD Gordon won't give a straight answer

(NEWSER) - Geraldo Rivera and his enormous mustache gave Herman Cain’s spokesperson the third degree last night, but after hammering him for nearly six minutes, still could not get a substantive denial of the recent sexual harassment claims against the candidate. JD Gordon called the claims “thinly sourced” and a “smear campaign,” but would not give a straight answer when asked repeatedly by Rivera if he was denying there was ever a payout made to two women. “What you’re doing right now is a recipe for disaster, mate,” Rivera warned. Scout leader bounced back and forth from BC to California

(NEWSER) - Boy Scout officials in Southern California failed to report a child-molesting Scout leader who went on to rape children in Canada, the Los Angeles Times reports. Former Scout leader Rick Turley starting molesting Scouts in British Columbia in the 1970s. He even kidnapped one, served time, and re-enlisted as a Scout leader in Southern California. When he molested three more, parents refused to press charges, and he was allowed to return to Canada—where he worked as a Scout leader and continued to attack children. More»

But they didn't chase him off, Fox insists

(NEWSER) - Fox News host Geraldo Rivera found the crowd pretty hostile to his network when he attempted to report on the Occupy Wall Street movement from New York City's Zucotti Park. Hecklers chanted "Fox News lies" as Rivera conducted interviews and: "Na Na Na Na, Hey Hey Hey, Goodbye," as he left the park, reports the New York Daily News . Fox denies that protesters forced Rivera and his crew to flee the park. A YouTube video that apparently shows protesters sending Rivera packing was heavily edited, the network says. More»
