Producer: Jacko Dazzles on Unreleased Ballad

Share

(Newser) – We haven't heard the last of Michael Jackson's music. An unreleased ballad called "Don't Be Messing Around" ranks up there with his best stuff, says longtime Jackson producer Bruce Swedien. "Michael plays piano on it, and it's just beautiful," he says. "Oh my God, there's nothing like it." The song probably won't surface until Jackson's estate is settled.

It's not clear how many Jackson tracks are out there. “There might be one or two songs that didn't make it from each album,” said Swedien. “But they're not finished. There aren't vocals for everything.” Swedien, who worked with Jackson in his heyday, has a book out later this month called In the Studio with Michael Jackson. And though Jacko owed the producer $500,000, “it's nothing but good stuff.”

They are going to milk this cow for many years to come with unreleased music, re-releasing old tunes and any trick they can pull or angle they can work, leaches plain and simple. Not a one stepped forward and put a stop to the self induced sickness that helped kill the man but they are there, hands out once he died. Decency in humans seems more a myth each day...how very sad. I'm sure ppl will claim it's "beautiful" even if it's not...which it probably isn't. Reply

Bruce Swedien is an accomplished and respected producer in his field. Michael Jackson put out "beautiful "stuff for 40 years. I can hardly wait to hear more from these two. Reply

AMEN to that! The man was beautiful, wanted good for the world and all eople do is bash him! And to think he wanted, and tried to "heal the world" I hope he finds the peace in death, that he couldn't find in life! I miss him and love him, not for the awesome icon that he was, but for the WONDERFUL LOVING MAN that he was!
