Mickelson's Mom Has Breast Cancer, Too

Phil Mickelson's mother has breast cancer and will undergo surgery this week at the same hospital that's treating her daughter-in-law for the disease. Amy Mickelson, the star golfer's wife, was diagnosed in May. Phil Mickelson's sister, Tina, tells the San Diego Union-Tribune she made the diagnosis public in hopes that mom Mary Mickelson would receive the same kind of support Amy Mickelson has experienced.
