(NEWSER) - Lindsay Lohan is apparently famous enough to be known by her first name alone…and she wants $100 million from E*Trade, which dared to use that name without her permission. The “milkaholic” baby featured in the above ad was named after “someone on the account team,” a rep insists, but LiLo’s lawyer pooh-poohs that idea: They’re using Lindsay’s name “as a parody of her life. (NEWSER) - Lindsay Lohan’s bad publicity parade marches on, but all hope is not lost: Tracey Harrington McCoy fully backs a LiLo career comeback, and she outlines a 12-step program on PopEater :

1. No more fake tanning: It’s one thing to promote your line of spray tanner. It’s another to show up on the red carpet with “oompa-loompa orange feet.”
2. No more fake hair color: Not only does the blond look fake, it highlights the orange tan—go back to the natural, and unique, red.
3. No more leggings: “Please start wearing a bra. Stop replacing pants with sheer leggings or tights.”

Denies charges, says suit will be dropped

(NEWSER) - Michael Lohan, who pleaded not guilty to accusations he threatened to kill his fiancée, tells E! that Erin Muller wants to drop the charges. “By no means did I threaten to cause harm to Erin or myself,” he says. “As a matter of fact, Erin even told the court that she didn’t want to pursue anything.” Lohan—now a religious counselor—claims the charges stem from a misunderstanding. Woman claims drunk cast members knocked her down

(NEWSER) - This has got to be some sort of record: Jersey Shore and its cast members have now racked up 15 lawsuits in two years. The latest, courtesy of Courthouse News Service : A woman celebrating her niece's birthday at a bar in Seaside Heights, NJ, claims that drunk Jersey Shore cast members caused a brawl that eventually involved club security and show security. In the chaos, she was struck and hit her head, resulting in "severe and permanent injuries," according to her lawsuit. More»
