Kristol: Hey, Liberals, Your Bubble Is Bursting

(Newser) – With the 2006 and 2008 election victories, liberals have been cheering the end of the “ghastly interlude of conservative dominance ushered in by Ronald Reagan,” William Kristol writes in the Weekly Standard. Not so fast. “Only six months into the new administration, even a talented hot air blower like President Obama, assisted by friendly gusts of wind from the media, is having trouble keeping the liberal blimp afloat.”

None of the Obama administration’s grand schemes are working, Kristol continues, and even trusted allies in the media are bemoaning the sad state of affairs. “Why such long faces?” Kristol wonders. Because, despite the horror of the Bush years, “the American public hasn't fundamentally rethought their turn in 1980 away from big government liberalism.” Kristol quotes Michael Barone: “Americans seem to be recoiling against big government when it threatens to become a reality rather than a campaign promise.”

It doesn't fix the root of the problem. He's the democrat version of reagen. Grand plans, galvanizing his party base but in the end these same problems will keep coming back because the system itself is flawed. If he wanted to really change things he would go after abusive big business instead of siding with them.

Candidate Barrack Obama lied teased and cajoled the American public into believing that He “The Anointed One” had all the answers. Now everyone is realizing that He “The Anointed One” is full of Crappola like we “The Conservatives” believed. For those of you new to this issue, Crappola is the stuff spewed out of Politicos frontal orifices to subdue the natives and give them Hope and Peace that their leaders know what they are doing. Crappola is synonymous with Purple Kool-Aid. Barrack did this with the help of the week minded media, we believe he used a Jedi mind trick to overwhelm them, the forces of the dark side are strong they are. This next episode will be fun to watch. Barrack will face dissention in his ranks as his minions wake from his mind control and realize Obama is schlepping Band-Aids, earmarks and socialism and not bi-partisan Democratic leadership. The future for America is at stake, let’s all wakeup and smell the bullshit.
