'Hermione' to Star With Marilyn Manson

She's going from the pal of a boy wizard to a Goth rocker

(Newser) – When Emma Watson said she was ready to leave Harry Potter behind, she meant it. The actor—whose only major role so far has been Hermione in the Potter films—is reportedly teaming up with shock rocker Marilyn Manson for her next project, playing a princess in a musical Goth version of Cinderella, reports the Sun.

ummm...you know...Manson is actually very talented (i don't care for most of his albums, but his other stuff is quite good). and harry potter are some pretty lousy films. and, she's going to be type cast as that stupid witch character if she doesn't do something very different. ppl are such closed minded noobs.

i think it's a good bold move personally. she's not teaming up with him PERSONALLY, she's just gonna be co-starring in a movie with him. Reply

I would have to agree. She needs to break free from the character that she has played for 10 yrs and there wouldn't be a more drastic way than this.
