Redford, Longtime Galpal Marry

Plus, trouble in paradise for Madonna and Jesus

(Newser) – Robert Redford married longtime girlfriend Sibylle Szaggars in Germany this weekend, E! reports. The actor and the painter, who met in the early '90s at a Sundance Film Festival event, married in a small private ceremony conducted in Szaggars’ native German, according to a local newspaper. It is the second marriage for Redford, who has three children from his first marriage. Elsewhere:

  • Jesus Luz is starting to realize Madonna will never take him seriously, a source tells the New York Daily News. She’s only dating him because “he’s pretty and she can boss him around. He’s good in bed. And he takes really good care of her kids. But as a life partner? No. He’s child's play.”
  • In movie news, David Arquette confirms to E! he and wife Courteney Cox are on board for a fourth Scream flick.
  • Lance Bass is still hoping to go to space, though his 2002 attempt on a Russian rocket didn't work out. "I'm a trained astronaut, and it's my time to go," he tells the New York Daily News.
