CBS: Cronkite Will Keep Introducing Evening News

Late newscaster's voice was to be dropped from broadcast

(Newser) – The voice of the late Walter Cronkite will continue to introduce the CBS Evening News, the New York Times reports. The network’s decision marks a reversal after talks with Cronkite family members, who were “very clear that if we continued to use his voice, they would consider it an honor,” said CBS News’ president. Cronkite’s voice has introduced the show since 2006, when Katie Couric became anchor.

I just won a bet with 3 coworkers that you cannot possibly post a comment without including the oxymoronic phrase "liberal fascist" twice.

The vast majority on this site are too rational to do anything but to thumb your ilk down and move on -- don't kid yourself, C_k. Your and your ilk are a very small (but much loved) minority here. ; ^)
