McNair Was Drunk At Time of Death: Medical Examiner

(Newser) – Steve McNair was legally drunk the day he was killed by his 20-year-old lover, the Tennessean reports. The former NFL quarterback had a blood-alcohol content of 0.16, the state medical examiner said today—twice the amount at which it is illegal to drive. Sahel Kazemi had a small amount of marijuana in her system, but no alcohol.

0.16 is really a mild alcohol buzz....Don't drive, but it is about five or six (or eight) drinks in an afternoon.... Reply

Actually for a 135 pound women it's three lemon martinis. That's what I had the only time I've ever been pulled over cause my taillight was out.. At fifty, I got a DUI on a 0.15 that cost me about ten thousand bucks. I don't even gargle and drive. It's dangerous, it's stupid and it is expensive. Plus it's twice over the limit in most states.

And SPH, I know that you said don't drive. I'm merely trying to add to the discussion of REALLY don't drive. The irony of my DUI is that I did my field sobriety test next to a road-side cross for a girl that was killed by someone being as thoughtless as I.
