Hogan's Son Leaves Hospital After Wreck

Posted Aug 27, 07 11:35 AM CDT in Sports Arts & Living

(Newser) – Reality TV star Nick Bollea has been discharged from a Florida hospital, after seriously injuring himself and a passenger in a "spectacular wreck" on a Florida highway last night.  The 17-year-old son of Hulk Hogan was featured on the pro wrestler's series Hogan Knows Best. The hospital confirmed Bollea was no longer a patient, but said his passenger was critically injured, according to People.

Bollea's Toyota Supra hit a palm tree on the highway near Clearwater—authorities aren't yet sure what caused the crash, though they say Bollea's car was traveling at a "high rate of speed." The car was "totally destroyed," according to police, and rescue workers needed the "jaws of life" to extract the men.
