Biden Gushes Over Ukraine's 'Beautiful Women'

(Newser) – Joe Biden’s visit with the Ukrainian president today in Kiev yielded an addition to the vice president’s foot-in-mouth file, the New York Post reports. “I cannot believe that a Frenchman visiting Kiev went back home and told his colleagues he discovered something and didn’t say he discovered the most beautiful women in the world,” Biden told Viktor Yushchenko. “That’s my observation.”

“It’s certain you have so many beautiful women,” the vice president added; remaining uncertain is which Frenchman Biden was referring to, or what other discovery prompted him to ignore the natural bounty of the former Soviet state. The exchange occurred in a bar, but apparently the talkative VP was drinking only Coca-Cola.
