(Newser) – The US is pretty sure that an American missile killed Osama bin Laden's son in Pakistan, reports NPR. Spy agencies are "80 to 85%" certain that a missile from a US drone killed Saad bin Laden, thought to be in his late 20s, sometime in the last year. Saad bin Laden was active in al-Qaeda but not a major figure. "We make a big deal out of him because of his last name," says a counterterrorism official.

I just find it impossible to beleive that with the billions of dollars we spend on intelligence gathering capabilities that after all this time we can't find/kill the father who's supposed to be some goat cheese eating SOB who lives in a cave. Could this have to do with the balance of world power or something at the supreme strategic level that we're not supposed to understand.

Kookey90, Ole Georgie Boy was going to smoke him out. Dead or alive, but like everything else he did was more or less a brazing lie.
