150 Maldive Women to Be Flogged for Affairs

(Newser) – A criminal court in the Maldives has ruled that 150 women will be flogged for having affairs in the Muslim country, reports the Independent. Some 50 men face the same punishment. Earlier this month an 18-year-old woman fainted after being flogged 100 times for having sex with two men, who were both acquitted. The woman was pregnant when she was convicted of her crime, but punishment was delayed until after the birth of her child.

who told you that i believe in evolution? you figured that out yourself in an outburst of contempt, and you missed the toilet hole. honestly i don't believe in almost nothing. i don't have the answers to your and my questions and i never claimed that. i don't know where we come from. sorry, I just believe in Communism, nothing else. look at the failures of christianism, that killed millions in the name of the god of love. big deal. you make me puke, you and your fucking god and christs.

This is very sickening. Countries and religions like these are very hypocritical. Their own clergy and male population , the stalwarts of their society, are usually the biggest violators and continue to get away with their misdeeds. Remind me to stay out of these countries.

hey, think about this when you'll be choosing the place of your next leisure travel. there are so many civilised places to go. like Cuba. no i am not joking. there is no such thing as religion dictating the criminal agenda in that and many other countries. as usual religion proves to be the greatest self-inflicted curse of mankind.
