Man Forced to Drink Acid in UK 'Honor Attack'

(Newser) – A London man was beaten, stabbed, and forced to drink acid in what police believe was an "honor attack," the Daily Mail reports. The victim lost his tongue in the attack and remains in critical condition. Police believe the man, who was originally Danish, was attacked because he was suspected of having an affair with a married Muslim woman from Pakistan. Two men have been charged with attempted murder, and sources say the woman's brother is among the suspects. Police have warned her that her life may be in danger.

no one should kill in the name of God, if God wants to kill let him, don't do stuff in the name of something that contradicts nature and human rights. no one created life and therefore no one is permitted to take any- simple logic people-any one who does such crimes like the one above is just plain ignorant and very uneducated. even the bible says any one who kills by the sword will die by it. ur call.

If someone kills his daughter or wife because he can according to his religion, then it is an honor killing. Period. There is no excuse. There are crazies who do kill - but they do it because they are crazy - not religious fanatics. This is not a loving religion as practiced by the Islamic terrorists.

And hopefully, we'll evolve out the religious nuts. I don't mean the religious ones who live and let live; just the ones that kill for their religion, want everyone else to adhere to their religion and want a country ran based on their religion.
