He denies cheating; her lawyer claims abuse

(Newser) – A New York woman went a little bit Lorena Bobbitt on her husband yesterday, allegedly pouring scalding water over his genitals as revenge for suspected cheating, the Post reports. “By the time I woke up, the skin was falling off,” says Emmanuel Ojofeitimi, who was treated for burns from his knees to his abdomen, and elsewhere. His wife, also 67, was charged with assault.

A lawyer for Oyindamola Ojofeitimi says her husband “had a history of abusing her both physically and psychologically,” but he denies cheating on her—recently, at least. As for past transgressions, “she does not know how to forgive and forget; she doesn’t let anything go,” Emmanuel Ojofeitimi says. The two, both nurses, have been married 21 years; Emmanuel says he’ll file for divorce.

if they were 40 i'd agree. But 70? If you are male and still wanting to go after it at 70, you got to get it if you can.

You know, what ever happened to the good old datys when couples would simply divorce and that was it? Seriously, because she suspected his was cheated she assaulted him? Don't get me wrong, if he was abusing her, than she should have called the police and lfet him ages ago.

Yeah and if Men went around doing serious bodily injury to their Wives privates for cheating and I suspect that since more woman are cheating, it's gonna happen sooner or later but if Men did something as medieval as this crazy and Bobbit's wife, you know Men would be castrated by every woman's group in the World, not saying it's right, just saying
