Palin Camp Denies Divorce Rumor

Affairs, work stress caused marriage to deteriorate

Share

(Newser) – Sarah Palin denied a report today that she and former “First Dude” Todd Palin are getting a divorce: "Yet again, some so-called journalists have decided to make up a story," Palin's spokeswoman writes on Facebook.  "There is no truth to the recent 'story' ...  that the Palins are divorcing." But AlaskaReport cites “multiple sources” in Wasilla and Anchorage that the pair are splitting up.

Not only that, the Palins were incommunicado at the ex-governor’s farewell rally, and Sarah left without Todd—or her wedding ring, says the Alaska blogger. Also, Todd told Fox News he would return to work in Alaska’s oil fields, while Sarah is considering moving the family to newly bought land in Montana. AlaskaReport defends its credibility by noting that it broke stories on Sarah Palin’s gubernatorial candidacy and her selection as John McCain’s VP candidate.
