(Newser) – Four women face felony charges after a bizarre act of revenge against a womanizing husband, the AP reports. Wendy Sewell, 43, Therese Ziemann, 48, and Michelle Belliveau, 43, all of Wisconsin, teamed up with the man’s wife to trap him at a motel, tie him up, and super-glue his penis to his stomach. Besides being married, the man was dating Sewell and Ziemann; Belliveau is Ziemann’s sister.

The women left the man bound in the hotel when he started screaming, but took his wallet, car, and cell phone. Ziemann said she met the man through Craigslist, and loaned him money to stay at the motel. Last week, however, his wife got in contact to inform her that he was married and using Ziemann and his other girlfriend for money. All four women have been charged with being party to false imprisonment.

@northeast - And the rapists are still men. The ones doing violence are still the men. And I have heard that rumor about male rape in prison. I am not satisfied it is correct, but I am looking into it. Rape and sexual assault against women is under-reported, too, because of how often it happens while a woman is intoxicated; many don't report it because they have bought into that wrong-headed idea that their intoxication meant they were asking for it. I apologize for the meltdown, but I can tell you right now, off the top of my head, four stories of rape or sexual assault on women I've known. Of all the men posting here, I would bet my life that at least 5 have a wife, sister, aunt, mother, daughter or close acquaintance who has been sexually assaulted in some manner and of that 5, only 1 is aware of it. Many women do not talk about it or are afraid it will fall on deaf ears. Check out this link: http://www.racialicious.com/20... /12/21/original-essay-the-not-rape-epidemic/. I appreciate your not calling me on the carpet for my meltdown.
