Greek Woman Torches Randy Tourist's Genitals

26-year-old claims Briton removed pants, forcibly fondled her

(Newser) – A Greek woman is being hailed as a hero after torching a lecherous British tourist’s genitals, the Telegraph reports. A 23-year-old Briton had allegedly taken off his pants and flashed his privates at women in a nightclub in the resort town of Mallia on the island of Crete. When the man grabbed the 26-year-old woman and "forcefully fondled" her, she poured liquor on his crotch.

When the man kept coming, the woman took a lighter to his alcohol-soaked genitals. The man is in a clinic, having suffered significant damage to his sexual organs. The woman has turned herself in to police, claiming a right to self-defense. In an indication of sympathy, authorities declined to detain her before the trial date.

I'm totally for this woman defending herself, but doesn't it seem a little thought out? Does anyone on here believe that she put the drink on his crotch without having thought out that she would light it? Just not the first thing I would have thought of to defend myself with....

I didn't bother reading any of the comments because I'm sure people will try bashing the girl. But this girl totally has my sympathy. You might call it overkill, but forcing yourself onto a woman, in my eyes, lets you get what you deserve--no matter how bad it is.
