Jenny Sanford, Kids Move Out

(Newser) – The wife of South Carolina's philandering governor is moving out and taking the kids, the State reports. “I have decided to move back to our home in Charleston with our sons for the upcoming school year,” Mark Sanford's wife, Jenny, said in a statement released today. The governor released a statement that reads in part: "I stand by this family decision." The Sanfords have four sons.

“We will work to continue the process of healing our family," Jenny Sanford said. She said she and the children “will return often, and I will remain engaged in activities in my role as First Lady, acknowledging that my responsibilities to my family come first.” Jenny Sanford was instrumental in convincing leaders who called for the governor’s resignation that he could discharge his duties while dealing with the fallout of his high-profile affair.

They sure were our business when Bill Clinton was in office..in fact it was so important that the republicans spent 70 million of our tax dollars over a BJ. I have no problem with you sticking up for that rat trap Sanford, but be consistent in your application of your so-called "what is and what isnt our business" mantra....meaning if you talk the talk, then walk the walk lindamae. One last thing lindamae, I hope you are not sucking on any of our socialist programs like Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and if you are you renounce them and never apply for any socialist safety net programs. Walk the walk. And President Obama is cleaning up the mess your boy and party left after 8 years of Bush and 30 years of failed conservatism applied in governemt.

Hubby did not publish the fawning notes. Don't you wonder who did? Great way to derail a popular GOP leader. Bet he was set up.

Old men, foolish choices, broken marriage vows. These situations are so NOT our business. These are private tragedies which have happened before and will happen again. It is not for public consumption. As for his leaving the state, that is why he has a staff. And a Lt. Gov. for die emergencies. I've been reviewing JFK's sex-antics with Marilyn Monroe and the other women on his staff and once again need to conclude that it is none of our business. We do not own our politicians body and soul. They work for us in running our states and country. The way Obama has been messing up lately, I'd rather he be in the midst of an affair. It'd keep him away from his health care fiasco and perhaps we could really reform the program instead of building another huge gov. agency - filled with inefficiencies. Try tort reform - no more silly law suits. Try buying insurance from any state. Try putting the cheats who have stolen money from Medicaid and Medicare in jail - nothing is done. The money saved could buy a great policy for the 14 million without insurance. No common sense. I am amazed at all the comments from people who were virgins on their wedding night. Would that we were all so perfect. Oh, well, we sinful beings just are so imperfect.
