Jacko Sources: Pal Not Paris' Dad

Plus, Michael finally buried, and more

Share

(Newser) – Mark Lester’s words were “twisted around,” his friends tell People, and though he did donate sperm to Michael Jackson, “he’s not claiming to be the father of Paris Jackson.” Or at least not this morning. All such stories circulating the tabloids are “just merely claims with no legal standing whatsoever,” the Jackson family attorney adds. More Jackson news:

  • The King of Pop was finally buried at Forest Lawn, the Mirror reports. There was no ceremony and the Jacksons will not release the exact location of his grave.
  • Also from the Mirror: Jackson biographer Ian Halperin says the singer spent his final 12 hours alive writing poetry, “high as a kite,” and asking for his father. “If Joe Jackson had seen him that night, I believe Michael would still be alive,” Halperin says.
  • A tribute concert featuring a “high-profile lineup of international stars” is being planned in Vienna, TMZ reports. Tickets will go on sale Aug. 20.

Yeah, it would be cool if Omer really were Michael's son, there is certainly a resemblence around the eyes to a young Michael and he has all the dance moves but Omer denies he is. He may have reasons for wanting to keep out of the limelight rather than endure what Michael had to go through ... and Omer would be put through the media circus if it was ever discovered he was MIchael's true son.
