Imus in Talks With Fox Business

(Newser) – Don Imus is negotiating with Fox Business to broadcast a video simulcast of his morning talk show, the Los Angeles Times reports. Imus had a simulcast deal with MSNBC when his radio show was on CBS, before he referred to the Rutgers women’s basketball team as “nappy-headed hos.” He now broadcasts on WABC with a simulcast on rural and agriculture-focused cable channel RFD-TV; the Fox deal would end that relationship.

"We talk to interesting and engaging talent all the time,” a Fox Business spokeswoman says.

I just remembered their were a few woman on the girls basketball team who ended up suing Imus rightfully for the names he called them and then I never heard anything about it. I was wondering how much did he finally paid out to them to go away? Reply

Don Imus is a living legend. He taught me more about music, books whatever than anyone. I've never watched MSNBC after they gave him the boot. Come on people, you can't joke about anything not equal to you. Imus joked about everything and the day he said nappy headed ho it was only because he was conferring equal status. No one who's a racist says nappy headed ho. They say young black females but would shot their son for bringing one home.

Fox must be losing ground, this guy looks like a cadaver and has for some time. He kinda reminds me of David Rockefeller. How in the hell does that creepy old guy still hang around anyway? Personally, I think he sold his soul to the devil. I know that sounds pretty "Crossroads", but he looks and sounds like Mr. Burns from the Simpsons, and his evil credentials are impeccable. Reply
