Mel's Babymama: Don't Judge!

Oksana Grigorieva may be carrying Mel Gibson’s love child, but she wants “to be judged by my art, by my music,” she tells Reuters in her first interview. “How can I be judged for falling in love? We live in the same city. I don’t control who I meet,” she says, adding that she did not start a relationship until she was “reassured” Gibson was not happily married. Elsewhere:

• Jessica Simpson and Beyonce were in Japan during the 6.6 earthquake this week, but they lived to tweet another day, Access Hollywood reports. “I have never felt anything like this in my life,” Simpson posted.
• The Daily Mail does not approve of Angelina Jolie’s appearance at last night’s Inglourious Basterds premiere, with Lizzie Smith deeming her “fragile” and unhealthy-looking—but the Sun would beg to differ: Gordon Smart calls her head-turning look “eye-popping” and seems to take issue only with Brad Pitt’s “dodgy beard.”
• Looks like Simon Cowell will be back on American Idol for at least three seasons. He is currently finalizing a deal with Fox, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
• Also from the Reporter: Fox will play host to a partial Arrested Development reunion, as the series’ creator, co-executive producer, and co-star Will Arnett are teaming up for another single-camera comedy featuring Arnett as a rich Beverly Hills man who falls in love with a tree-hugger.
