James Frey's Latest Creation: Pro-Choice, Pro-Gay Jesus

Once Oprah's enemy, now Christians'?

(Newser) – James Frey pissed off a lot of people—including Oprah—when his “memoir” A Million Little Pieces was exposed as fictional—but his new book might spark even more ire. Illumination: The Final Testament of the Holy Bible features a Messiah who marries gays, impregnates a teen, and later takes her to have an abortion—and compares the Old and New Testaments to comic books, the New York Post reports.

“It's a theoretical third book of the Bible, one version of what it might be like if the Messiah, or Christ, actually showed up on the streets of contemporary New York,” Frey says.

Jesus is a myth y'all. Give up on the christian fairy tales already. Oops, did I use the word fairy? (heh heh). If the f*cker is out there, may he strike me dead for blasphemy. Tick tock, tick tock, still here y'all.

God, if he exists, and I believe he does, doesn't work like that.
