Sideshow Owner Wins $4K in 5-Legged Pup Case

Share

(Newser) – TV judge Jeanine Pirro has handed the freak show world a victory in the case of the 5-legged pup saved from a life on exhibit, the New York Daily News reports. Pirro ruled that the dog's original owner shouldn't have reneged on his deal to sell the animal to John Strong and awarded the Coney Island sideshow operator $4,000. Strong hailed the ruling but says he still wants the dog back from the woman who bought it to give it a normal life, even though it now only has four legs, thanks to surgery.

Wow, once again, I predicted this outcome, even while many said I was wrong. I told you he would win the lawsuit, as he had a contract, regardless of how your wee little heart feels, the law prevailed... and so did I! Again! Reply

Who's to say the pup would have been on exhibit? Couldn't it just have a been a strange pet for the freaks? I remember a dog whisperer episode where a freak show in California had a five legged dog and treated it like a member of the family. Just because they like strange things doesn't mean they are cruel and heartless! Reply

Ok, in the other article when he said that they would sew the leg back on...that was cruel and heartless. But don't judge all freaks by one bad apple!
