Three Strikes: Wright Files to Divorce Penn, Again

Share

(Newser) – There’s been a third divorce filing between Robin Wright Penn and hubby Sean Penn, Access Hollywood reports. The Penns have been on the outs, on and off, for years, but this time could be official. The fairer Penn claims “irreconcilable differences,” though the couple agrees to share custody of their 16-year-old son and she seeks no palimony.

“I hit that crossroad a while ago,” Robin Wright Penn says of the relationship. “I know what I don’t want.” The couple filed for divorce in December 2007, only to reconcile in April ’08; Sean Penn asked for a legal separation this April, but withdrew the petition weeks later.

They're married, it would be alimony and/or child-support. Not palimony. Reply
