Edwards Moves Former Mistress to NC: Enquirer

John wants to help raise love child; wife Elizabeth enraged

(Newser) – John Edwards is moving his former mistress and their 18-month-old daughter into his North Carolina neighborhood, the National Enquirer reports. Sources tell the tabloid that the former Democratic presidential candidate is determined to be involved in raising his child with Rielle Hunter. Edwards’ wife, Elizabeth, is said to have “exploded in a rage” at the news.

“John is definitely behind Rielle’s move to Wilmington,” a source says. “There’s absolutely no way that he didn’t approve or arrange her moving closer to him. John’s admitted to his family and close friends that he’s the father of Frances. He says he wants to be a part of her life and help raise his daughter.”

Barf. I have about had a belly full of John Edwards. Too bad he couldn't keep his jeans zipped. I hope the romp with the bimbo was worth it. Reply

Too much JE, agreed. What an idiot. And to think that I once voted for him to be VP. Of course in my defense, he has yet to torture anyone or start vanity wars.

If Edwards were a Republican, Spudsy, this would all be cast as something moving him closer to God, and you'd have the chance to vote for him again ;-)

Well he is a private citizen now so I think he can do as he wishes, at least he is showing the backbone needed to be a part of his Childs life whether married to the mother or not. As for his marriage to Elisabeth I think that is a marriage of convenience more than anything else and she knows exactly what she has in him and doesn't seem in a rush to dump him, their business and they can do what they want as long as it doesn't endanger others.
