Slain Model Terrified of Hubby: Friend

Millionaire reality show contestant Jenkins charged with murder

Share

(Newser) – A friend and former fiancé of slain model Jasmine Fiore says she was terrified of her husband, millionaire real estate developer and reality show contestant Ryan Jenkins, who was today charged with her murder, People reports. Fiore’s friend says she was “100%” scared of Jenkins, and that she had recently called him saying “I’m in over my head” and “I don’t know how I can get out.”

The friend also describes the assault on Fiore that landed Jenkins in court. He punched “her in the arm with enough force to push her into a pool,” he says. “She went right into the water fully clothed. Her phone, purse, everything.” Jenkins “was just so, so, so jealous.” Also today, the production company that cast Jenkins apologized for hiring a contestant with a criminal record. “Obviously, if the company had been given a full picture of his background, he would never have been allowed on the show.”

Jenkins was just so, so, so jealous. He would go through her phone every night. I think she may have even had a third phone but I'm not sure. - Travis Heinrich

I always have disliked these so called reality shows . If these shows really represent what people think and how they react in a stress situation . This whole planet is on a freefall ride into oblivion Reply

That's the point. Theses shows don't represent average life. They are pump full of drama and conflict. And people tune in to see that.

By the way I don't think it would have made a lot of difference weather or not the producers knew if he had a criminal record or not as long as they got good ratings. Reply
