Paquin: 'I Take Off My Bra for Sex'

(Newser) – Sassy Anna Paquin has absolutely no trouble stripping down for scenes in HBO's steamy series Tru Blood, she tells Nylon in a let-it-all-hang-out interview. "I'm sorry, maybe there are women who keep their bras on while they have sex. I don't happen to be one of them," quips Paquin, who plays delectable telepath Sookie Stackhouse.  

"I don't think the naked body is particularly shocking or interesting," she adds. That "not interesting" part has got to be a bit of a letdown for fellow cast member and real-life beau Stephen Moyer, who plays one of Sookie's hot love interests in the vamp show.

Well, me neither BUT I've noticed that when TV wants to indicate hot steamy sex the woman ALWAYS has her bra on. Recently I caught a few moments of a light porn show on cable and, while the couple was naked, they contorted themselves ridiculously to avoid showing a breast or any other private part. Hence, Ms. Paquin's comment. I agree that the Sookie character has much less spunk than the actress seems to have.

If only the character were as "sassy," charming, and interesting as Anna Paquin. I feel like fast forwarding every time Bill and Sookie have a scene.

I had a gf whose breasts were ruined from an unsuccessful boob job, infection, cleanup operation.. she kept her bra on. Luckily I'm an ass man, and oh my God, her ass belonged on Mt Rushmore. A pretty bra can be better than bad boobs.
