He's in talks now over move to 'Good Morning America'

(NEWSER) - George Stephanopoulos is in negotiations to replace Diane Sawyer on ABC's Good Morning America, reports Howard Kurtz. While the network has offered him the job, it's not yet clear if he'll take it—Stephanopoulos is pushing to change the show to suit his preference for hard news.
