(Newser) – Several Cape Cod beaches have banned swimming this weekend after four great white sharks were spotted prowling the waters, the Cape Cod Times reports. Shark expert Gregory Skomal and his crew tagged two of them—described as 8 and 10 feet long—with high-tech trackers. It was a rare instance of experts tagging Atlantic great whites to follow their migratory patterns. "From a scientific perspective, it's fantastic," said Skomal.

well lets see.....GOP oceanographers, and shark experts see a credible threat of shark predation on innocent Americans and tags and tracks them. the ACLU and PETA file suit claiming biased predatory profiling, and invasion of privacy on behalf of the sharks. Litigation carries on for years, and only the lawyers get rich, and the sharks eat a ferry boat full of nuns, the pope issues a decree damming all sharks, prompting more litigation. Meanwhile one of the sharks dies from an overdose of digitalis that was on one of the nuns. Phizer gets a class action lawsuit on behalf of the sharks family for 45 million because they didn't warn specificaly not to give digoxin to sharks. George Soros donates 4 million to the shark defense fund, and states even sharks need healthcare. Bush is blamed.....
