A British playboy and one-time Hllary Clinton fundraiser is facing a life sentence for the torture-murder of a caretaker who refused to move out of a warehouse he wanted to sell, the Times of London reports. Thanos Papalexis, son of a Greek shipping tycoon, was convicted with the help of Miami prostitute and porn star Rebecca DeFalco, who testified that he once told her he had killed a “nobody” because he “got in the way."

Papalexis fled his creditors and moved to the US after a deal to sell the warehouse collapsed despite the caretaker's murder. He reinvented himself as a James Bond-style playboy, mixing with the elite and throwing lavish events at his Florida mansion, including a fundraiser for Clinton last year. Papalexis is a “classic psychopath,” the court was told, whose unchecked sexual and aggressive urges made him a killer.
