  1. Aerospace engineering, $109,000
  2. Chemical engineering, $107,000
  3. Computer engineering, $105,000
  4. Electrical engineering, $102,000
  5. Economics, $101,000

  1. Physics, $98,800
  2. Mechanical engineering, $98,300
  3. Computer science, $97,400
  4. Industrial engineering, $95,000
  5.  Environmental engineering, $94,500

I don't think they really did a very indepth study. It would be nice to find out how they went about getting their information, and if in fact they limited their search to only a specific list of jobs. I'm a Mining Engineer, with 2 years experience and I make $75,000, and have many friends with the same degree and experience, making between $70,000 and $100,000...you just have to be willing to live in the middle of nowhere to get the big money in my business. Also, I have nursing friends in California, with 2 years experience, and they make over $100,000. Another article outlining these types of options would be great (where the money is made, and alternative options and locations for big money).

Interesting to consider that every degree in the top 10 requires serious Math skills (tip o' the keyboard to Todd_English). I don't mean to gloat but ... Math geeks makin' bank w00t!

I guess I should have become an engineer...but I was never that good at math.
