(Newser) – A Yale professor has been interviewed by police over the disappearance of graduate student Annie Marie Le, New York Daily News reports. Le was due to attend the professor's class on Tuesday but it was abruptly canceled and Le was found to be missing hours later. The cancellation so close to the time Le is believed to have disappeared raised police suspicions, a law enforcement source says. It is unclear whether the professor is a suspect.

The pharmacology student was last seen Tuesday morning at her lab on the Yale campus, where her purse, phone, credit cards, and cash were found later that day. Yale has offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to her whereabouts, and family members have canceled Le's wedding to a Colombia University grad student, which was due to take place on Long Island tomorrow morning.

These children that go missing generally are kidnapped and have clues along with it, like a family member who is bitter. This woman went missing with what seems as her just vanishing, days before he wedding. This situation seems far deeper than a child what was kidnapped by an estranged parent or angry caretaker.

actually kelly, I am less concerned about ADULTS that go missing than I am about the unreported minors. So knowing there is limited news coverage and choices have to be prioritized, yes I would rather they did NOT report a missing ADULT when they could be reporting on a missing CHILD.

This only news because of Yale. What about all the other people (esp. children) that go missing and aren't broadcast on the national news? Are they really any less important?
