A group founded by Newt Gingrich has named a porn executive “Entrepreneur of the Year” and invited her to an “intimate event” with the former House speaker, Talking Points Memo reports. “I’m honored, and more than a little surprised,” Allison Vivas responded in a statement. “I'll make sure he walks away from that dinner educated about the realities of the online porn market.” But the group has since said it sent Vivas the letter by mistake.
Either way, the group has already sent Vivas the award, a signed replica of the gavel Gingrich used as speaker. Vivas said the gavel would “make for a pretty cool prop for a ‘Couples Seduce Teens’ episode.”
