Kanye Wigs Out During Taylor's MTV Award

'I'm sooooo sorry,' he writes on blog after crazy rant

(Newser) – Crazed hip-hopper Kanye West stormed the stage last night during Taylor Swift's speech accepting her MTV award for Best Female Video to plug Beyoncé's video. Giddy country-music sweetheart Swift was mid-sentence when West, spotted earlier swigging cognac, yanked the mike from her to rant to a stunned audience. West was escorted from the building. Beyoncé, who won the award for Best Music Video at the end of the program, invited Swift on stage with her, saying: "I would like Taylor to come and have her moment."

West later apologized for his bizarre intrusion on his blog, writing: "I'm sooooo sorry to Taylor Swift and her fans and her mom." Swift said after the program in New York: "I was excited to be onstage because I just won the award. And then I was excited that Kanye West was onstage. Then, I wasn't excited anymore."

MTV just needs to ban him entirely from any future award ceremonies. Go ahead and play his shit, hell, let his videos be nominated, but make sure he isn't allowed anywhere near a tv camera.

@Jes--I completely agree. If you don't have the maturity or tact to attend something like an AWARDS CEREMONY (I mean, come on, how hard is it to sit down and stfu?) then you should no longer be able to attend. Someone needs to knock him off of his high horse bc he certainly has an extremely inflated image of himself.
