Foray into foreign affairs will unfold behind closed doors

(Newser) – A speech Sarah Palin plans for later this month in Hong Kong won’t leave the room, CNN reports. Not only will reporters not be allowed in, but they won’t even know what they’re missing. “We are not disclosing the topic of Sarah Palin's presentation at this point,” says a rep for the 4-day event. As for the former Alaska governor's fee, rumored to top six figures, mum's the word. “We never disclose if, or how much, our speakers are remunerated,” says the spokeswoman.

Well here is a SERIOUS question the Repubs need to ask themselves, and I type this in earnest I honestly do. Pallin has held two public positions, she resigned BOTH before completing either...Are you prepared and do you have plans on what to do when she suddenly finds herself faced daily with obstructions and difficulties tossed in front of her and she decideds to resign so she can prepare to be the first Empress of the Earth or what ever strikes her fancy at any given moment? And do I think she would do such a thing? You Betcha I think she would fall over and quit within 6 months judging her by her track record or lack of track record.

I actually got to see a copy of her prepared speech. She opens with,"I'm so honored to be here. I've never had a chance to personally see Hong Kong before, though I have seen several version of the movie. It always makes me cry when they shoot him off the Empire State Building."
