Grey, Demi Lead Swayze Tributes

Dirty Dancing co-star cherishes swooning in his arms

(Newser) – Like generations who adored him, Jennifer Grey often thinks about swaying in Patrick Swayze’s arms, People reports. “When I think of him, I think of being in his arms when we were kids, dancing, practicing the lift in the freezing lake, having a blast doing this tiny little movie we thought no one would ever see,” says his Dirty Dancing co-star, who calls Swayze a “real cowboy with a tender heart.”

Demi Moore honored her Ghost co-star with a line from their film. “Patrick you are loved by so many and your light will forever shine in all of our lives,” she says. “In the words of Sam to Molly, ‘It's amazing Molly. Mr. Swayze was a talented man who never acted the fool in public nor sought improper attention. Even his last effort on TV showed his willingness to give himself to the work in spite of his illness. He was a man who knew his place in the world, and he will be missed. Reply

When Patrick cried in front of Barbara Walters, while speaking of his father, I felt the magnitude of this man's heart. Times like these I marvel at the Christian belief of an hereafter, and wonder if Patrick is with his father, now Reply
