A happy Phillies fan made a sensational catch to snag a foul ball at last night’s game against the Nationals. Then he gave the ball to his 3-year-old daughter, and the result is turning into a YouTube sensation: She chucked it back over the railing. “When she first threw it over, you know, I kind of laughed and was like, 'Oh my gosh, there it goes,’” Steve Monforto tells Fox Philadelphia. “But then the look on her face was that she may have done something wrong,” so Monforto fondly embraced daughter Emily.

Monforto was compensated for the quirky, crowd-pleasing moment. “One of the Phillies representatives the next inning came up with a brand-new ball,” he says, though “I don't think it was the ball that she threw down.” Emily’s clutch performance has inspired kudos from fans upset by the Phillies' poor performance in late innings. “I've gotten a couple of texts about whether Emily's available to close or not," Monforto says. (MLB has since pulled the video. To watch it, click on link below.)
