(Newser) – Sissy Spacek will join the cast of HBO’s Big Love, the LA Times reports. Spacek will be a regular cast member on the show’s upcoming fourth season, playing a DC lobbyist. Her first appearance comes in the third episode. Spacek raises the cast’s profile considerably: she won a best-actress Oscar in 1980 and has been nominated five other times.

heck yeah..trashy Sissy Spacek's name should never be brought up in a serious way....no laughing!...no fun!....keep a frown on your face, that's what Newser folks should strive for. But I am weak, and I can't WAIT for the new season of Big Love!

Sissy Spacek is one of my favorite actresses. I don't beleive she's ever made a bad movie. I wish her the best of luck, too bad I don't get HBO here.
